I struggled too, I know the feel. With all the love I have for Mercy, I know when she's not the right pick. You'll go far I'm sure !

See ? Mercy is just not the pick at lower elo. She's only good for healing, and her job is not healbotting.

I think that's the best to do. I was an OTP Mercy, but now I play every sup. Still learning bap and Lucio tho, I'm not really good at wall ride. But I can assure you, my games are more fun when I can do amazing thing as Ana, Kiri or Zen than when I play Mercy only having fun with her movement

Kiri is a strong pick too. I know bap, zen and Ana are strong at this elo if you hit your shot. I'd say play a hero who can do nice heal and good amount of damage. Cause dps at this elo are... well... not really good. Mercy have no real value with dps missing most shots.

Omg I had a streamer like that that on the OW2 beta!! She was an Ana otp but apparently she was only playing Mercy on the beta, pocketing her duo. Good job ! If I may give a tip if you want to get higher, play Moira up to low plat. Do damage when your team is safe. Focus squishies. I tried so hard getting out of siler with mercy but right when I switched to moira I ranked up fast af. I'm now a confirmed diam with Mercy only (got to Master 2)

I had this one time back on OW1. I picked Mercy first, played her correctly but the other sup was mad I picked her and kept inventing terrible play I apparently made. Funny thing is, second round they insta picked her, played her horribly, kept dying due to bad positionning. and we lost fast af.

As a Mercy main it's always a pain in the ass when the second sup insta pick her before you and play her awfully. Terrible positionning, decision making and the worse is they WONT switch. So you lost the game cause they keep dying but it's NEVER their fault.
