In November, family of three visiting NY. We went to take the subway, kiosk attendant won't sell us tickets, says we have to tap a credit card. You can't tap twice for two passengers, and we had only two credit cards with us. A passing commuter gave us a ticket so we could all ride.

Worked on main, of course. The reason this VP was using these scripts was that he was using some advice that said a product was ready to ship once the pattern of changes, as measured by lines added, edited, or removed, revealed that bug fixing had trailed off. A purely graph-based release trigger.

I once got in trouble for creating a branch because the metrics script couldn't handle it and believed I had just doubled the size of the codebase. New rule came out: no branching!

I had a similar message on my Linux desktop machine. Turns out it was reporting the battery state of the UPS. So, not wrong, though that battery is very rarely used.
