The latest of our conservation projects taking advantage of Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust funding and CNCC's conservation volunteers. The old fencing was replaced at Sweetwater Hole. A nice partnership between CNCC and the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. 🥰

⚠️⚠️⚠️ A few recently reported hazards in two of our very popular potholes:

In North by North End Pot, we have heard of a very recent collapse on the final pitch (Julian’s Leg Up) while a group was ascending, with an extremely large boulder now undermined and in danger of further collapse.

We're pleased to add a route description for Devis Hole to our website. This fascinating mine-cave system between Leyburn and Reeth offers cavers an excellent day out, open access, a short walk from the car, and suitable for most weather conditions.

On 26th April, RRCPC ran a 'Venture Underground' event. This was a sellout, with all places being taken, showing the increasing popularity of these CNCC-partnered events for getting people to try caving. Our next event with availability is 24th Aug. 🥰
