Loki’s anatomy is really fascinating to me as an artist, especially his profile.

Loki grumbles and squeaks and makes this weird little purr-meow that sounds like a pigeon/dove.
Toasty screeches like a tropical bird. (Sadly I haven’t been able to capture her most intense screeches on camera yet but all the loud meows here are her)

I love how every one of my cats has had a very different set of noises.
Gato had this high-pitched kitten mew and trilled (I probably have his trill somewhere but not sure).
Beepo yowled and growled when annoyed, but mostly just…yelled.

Toasty is like a little baby shark when she plays so it’s a little…intense looking until you get to know her. XD

Anyway, Loki and Toasty were very nervous around each other at first (thus my delay in getting good photos, Loki was kept in my kid’s room and Toasty was mostly with me) but I think they’re doing a lot better now.

Was trying to remember what this art movement was actually called (it’s the Amarna Period)…
but I was typing while in a car on a VERY bumpy road (I was not the one driving ofc)…
