Picking up some prescriptions yesterday, the pharmacy tech told me that my insurance is currently offering free Covid-19 tests and asked if I wanted any. Pleasantly surprised, I agreed, and she said she wasn’t sure how long it would last. I muttered “certainly not after January 20th”

What I don’t understand is why MAGAts are so, so angry. They won! Yet they’re in everyone’s Threads, spreading their hate and ignorance. Why? Why are they so miserable? They should be reveling in all that bliss.

Anyone else feel like we’re on some Hunger Games-inspired reality show right now? His cabinet choices are so extremely unqualified that they can’t be anything other than a joke to get a rise out of the libs. Right? Right? *sob*

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but as we brace for whatever is coming next, remember to secure your oxygen mask first.

On a lighter note, this month’s BarkBox theme is The Muppet Christmas Carol so *of course* we ordered it for our pup, Franklin. A future treat to warm my GenX heart just the tiniest bit.

I work from home everyday except Tuesdays, so this morning was my first commute since the unthinkable happened. I found myself flinching every time I saw a 🍊💩 banner or sign, and started crying when I remembered how much hope I had during last week’s commute.
