I'll miss this one a lot. We use S3 select heavily in our customer-facing ETL pipeline. It was great for querying loosely structured data. Now, migrating to Athena makes the overall solution more complex, as we need to manage tables and its data structures.

I think nuking whole cache probably impacts the frontend load time as it needs to re-fetch unchanged static assets. Wouldn’t it be better to invalidate api path only? Good reading, thanks!
