I think she says she's German? IIRC, Germany has really strong prohibitions about posting someone's face online without their explicit consent. I don't know how that'd apply to an American when they're both in Mexico, but maybe?

Yeah, I've seen those! I should have been clearer, I was talking about the specific style of watch my grandmother wore, that I haven't anyone wear in ages. A search says it's a "cocktail watch," c.1930s/40s. It was rectangular on a metal chain, like a bracelet. The face was smaller than a dime.
