he also drove like a madman but that's standard. I have never encountered a taxi driver in korea who drove at the speed limit and I don't believe they exist

to be fair there is one in changi which is only half as far. I just need to fly singapore to some other destination and make sure there's a decent layover. it's fine and normal to schedule your flights around a sandwich

then me and lisa went to bugak pavilion, but couldn't get an uber back down as all the taxis were busy elsewhere so we walked down the mountain for two hours in the rain and darkness. this is only the first full day mind you

day 2 update: a young man in the national museum stopped me and asked to chat to practice his english (he speaks 5 languages!!!) he said he'd been to my country before when he was a kid and I said oh cool what was your favourite part and he said vienna. a++

anyway I just finished watching the haunted palace and it was cuuuute. everyone (that mattered) was a cinnamon roll 🥰 and I loved seeing cha chung hwa and kim in kwon again!!
