Premier league refereeing is a complete disaster. I feel like NFL officiating is as good as it’s ever been.

Good CFB teams are playing for something meaningful. The bad NFL teams know they’re bad and that the game doesn’t really matter. That reflects in the play. Also the coaches aren’t necessarily better.

They expanded a lot into things like golf, hunting, fishing, etc. Lots of camo/military themed products. They also started making more inexpensive options that they sell at cheaper retailers, so it's not a prestige brand like it originally was.

Governor elections are just different than presidential or senate elections. A lot of the social issues that determine party alignment for national races are less meaningful for state executive. Maryland hasn’t voted for a Republican President since 1984 but has elected a Republican governor 3 times
