I'm a dyslexic writer, finally on the verge of releasing my debut novel. Its been a very long and grueling process for me but I couldn't be prouder of the results. Thank goodness for proofreaders!

I had a similar concern my main character was the least interesting in the whole book after my second draft was fully complete. I would suggest, though, rather than scrap it, if you can find a new dimension to add to them, it could save you a lot of pain.
