I bought a bunch and am handing them out to gardeners, construction crews, delivery drivers that I pass. Most start skeptical
But end up being grateful. I just carry them in my pocket and encourage those I meet to take more for family and friends. They aren’t expensive.

Don’t you think closing social security, as bad as that would be, would open peoples (ie republicans) eyes? There’s no interest like self interest.

It’s a very difficult decision. It’s entirely possible that if the government were shuttered it would never be reopened. I’d appreciate Dem leadership being transparent about the pros and cons of each option and why they landed where they did. They have zero leverage.
