Operation Green Light is an initiative to place green lights in windows as a show of gratitude and appreciation to veterans. Yesterday, we unveiled the Operation Green Light Ride On bus as a symbol of the county’s commitment to honoring our veterans.

Thank you to leaders across the country- our non profit leaders, my colleagues on the council, our state officials and representatives, Gov. Moore, and our federal delegation. We stand together with our residents as Trump continues to try and dismantle our county.

Hearing their stories emphasized the Council’s ongoing work to involve even more residents in local government decisions that shape lives. The academy’s curriculum will be open for all residents to take online beginning in December!
