Did this for my older son this week. Dr started saying “I know the HPV is kind of controversial…” He was a little shocked that we wanted everything he was eligible for this visit. I am also getting all the shots and boosters that I can for myself.

I set up a second language (of sorts) for this. I usually focus on English to French, but I also have a French to English that I only use when I need an easy lesson.

Scroll down to the bottom. It has an option to Customize and Reorder. You can’t quite turn it off but you don’t have to see it. Also an option to rename memories when they’re playing.

My college French teacher thought she knew which other languages we had all taken before. She did not clock that I had taken Spanish in high school until I accidentally said jugar instead of jouer.

Very true. Although I worry more for other kids whose families don’t have options.

As long as my younger child makes good progress with his speech this year, my husband and I have some knowledge and experience to give my older son extra support, even if we have to home school.

My boys are convinced their current never-ending cough comes from eating their boogers. I knew a P.E. teacher who was convinced this was where our next pandemic would come from (circa 2007).

If they get their way, I fear nowhere in the country will be safe. Sure, some states may try their best to protect public schools but that will only go so far.
