43 years later and I still regret the pin stripe stickers I put on my Barbie Corvette. It wasn’t as straight as I liked, but when I tried to fix it, it ripped 😕

Agreed. I gave my friend the “Happy Burger” brick build set for Christmas but I made proper Bob’s Burgers sign stickers for it, and yes, I made three sets of stickers, just in case.

I know someone who always says “aspecific” instead of specific, like it’s even more specific.

Ha, I have that one too. Also the Beaker that has a metronome and sings “Mee mee mee” to Ode to Joy

I love those read-a-longs! If you need the audio, I still have the website with the files, although I shamefully haven’t updated it in ages with any new books readalongadventures.com

I agree, I felt the same way. Your parents brought up a valid point.

I wonder what their take was on why the kids wouldn’t let the Trix Rabbit have cereal.

You’re in my head. I was so enamored by the unique animation style of Batman that X-Men and Spider-Man seemed less cool. But nowadays I know their plot lines were just as good.

I went to an Internet cafe in the 90s before going on a trip to the US and I wanted to print a list of Playmates Star Trek action figures that existed. Thanks for the reminder. I was focused on getting Weird Al tickets because he’s coming to my city, but way after Fire and Ash. I need to prioritize.

It’s $498 here in Canada, so really, pretend the dollar exchange rate doesn’t exist, and think of the $299 as a bargain.

Your Sesame Street backdrop is my favourite part.

Rediscovering the sorted away stuff is fun. It’s like being a museum curator of collections that are on rotation. I recently brought out my big Mr. Bean doll but put back an AT-AT.

Good question! Toys R Us in my Canadian city just closed and became a Spirit Halloween. If I see a giraffe costume there I’m going to be asking questions.

I’m glad for the Subway app because I can fumble over the choices without the in-person awkward pressure.

I think they made that movie into 9 Lives, but Kevin Spacey wasn’t very relaxed as a cat.

Ben Quadinaros looks like he might be getting upset that he’s seated behind a wookie for the ride.

I know that creepy doll! My brother’s friend had it and would send it down the laundry chute in his house, until one day poor Supes got stuck.

Yeah, I saw it in the theatre and I thought it was decent enough. I was very surprised to see the low rating on IMDb.

Thanks, now I’m rethinking about things that I said when I was seven and I still feel guilty.

Nice. I still have the unused Return of the Jedi Ewok toothbrush I got free at the dentist in 1983. The head is so tiny on it.

Did it this morning when Smells Like Teen Spirit came on the radio. Then again with The Eye of the Tiger.

I remember being close to this age and learning that elderly Aunt Bethany from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation was the voice of Betty Boop.

Those are nice. The one of Huey Dewey and Louie reminds me of the classic comic book covers.
