dead eh
Turns out tagabow are as good/better live than expected. Hopefully not the only time they’ll make it over here to tour

Excessive talking / chatting at gigs should be a punishable offence. Felt next level bad at times during the support acts at The Cluny last night. Otherwise an excellent show - listen to @pitponyband.bsky.social, they’re class.

We’ve had a UFO seeing owner and a team that had five points from 21 league games in the past, but somehow this is the most embarrassing point I’ve known following #cufc. Just a complete humiliation over the last 18 months.

Probably Jack Ellis’ best game in a blue shirt, brilliant. What a win, let’s keep going #cufc

I got a ticket to see my bloody valentine and I am content.

Managing to finish below a team that had five first team players in the middle of July is some effort, but we’re doing the best we can to achieve it #cufc

2003/4 had a team full of belief and hard work. Still went down, but did so feeling like it was the start of something bigger. This team is coasting, there is absolutely no belief, and the division below is much harder to get out of than it was 20 years ago. A mess #cufc

We only got 30 points last season and we’re going to struggle to get past that this time round. Abject doesn’t even cut it at this point - possibly the most gutless team I’ve seen in nearly 25 years of watching Carlisle #cufc

Panic on the streets of Barrow.

The football gods give Carlisle their umpteenth chance this season. Amazing how we’re somehow still only two results from getting out of the relegation zone. Two results is a big ask for us, mind.

12 wins out of our last 78 league matches #cufc

12 wins out of our last 77 league matches #cufc

12 wins out of our last 76 league matches #cufc

We could have somehow convinced Alex Ferguson to come out of retirement or resurrected Bobby Robson to manage us and some of our fans would still find a reason to complain #cufc

Felt properly jaded with #cufc for a while. It’s not cause we’ve been shite - that’s been the case for the majority of the time I’ve been going. The entitlement of some fans, especially online, to every single morsel of info, and the need to have a scapegoat for everything is just draining.
February 4, 2025 at 7:15 PM
Players just not taking responsibility for anything at all. Basic mistakes all over the pitch and no fight shown whatsoever. Shite #cufc

Crazy how much better your day is after getting three points. Needed some luck and some digging in, but we’ll take it #cufc

Don’t envy who’ll be at the table at that fans forum. Desperate stuff at the minute #cufc

We’ve been trying to “take the positives” for 18 months now. It’s always one step forward and two back and not being able to see a game out like that is not good enough, I’m afraid. Saturday an absolute must win #cufc

As if we needed any reminding #cufc
Ending the year with another traditional post - here's a 2024 table for the English leagues: www.experimental361.com/p/2024-table...

Hard to state how important those three points are, but even more
Important is managing to string two or more together - tough when we have so many injuries to compound it. Still, at least Parsons got sent flying (although he was generally alright today imo) #cufc

Inverted wing backs who aren’t even wing backs when you’re bottom of League 2 really isn’t a move anyone should be making. That said, once again, we can’t pass up the chances we have in games and continually pick up points. A one to forget all round today #cufc

One year on from one of the most abject #cufc performances we’ve had the displeasure of seeing, made even worse by the atrocious weather on the day. Fingers crossed we can avoid the drop this time around, it certainly feels more optimistic on the pitch than it did at this time last year.
December 9, 2024 at 5:58 PM
Another frustrating result, but probably fair again. You just can’t go diving in like that in your own box and not expect to give something away. Both teams doing their best to shoot themselves in the foot with the amount of misplaced passes and control as well. Onwards #cufc

Thomas out for eight to ten weeks now - will we ever get a reversal in fortune on injuries? When was the last time we could genuinely pick what would be our full strength XI?! #cufc
