I remember watching this in reruns when I was probably 10 years old (which was 11 years after it originally aired). I can so clearly remember the feeling of devastation and grief it prompted. I didn't know until right now that it was Burgess Meredith, but it had a deep impact on me as a kid.

I read this article this morning and am still enraged. Absolutely preventable suffering. The family that chose to roll the dice because they thought they could rely on herd immunity so refused to vax their kids is despicable.

What are you talking about? Are you not aware that people change their names, and therefore have a driver's license that doesn't match their birth certificate? And that the largest group of those people are women who took their husband's last name?
