Yesterday I was swapping the batteries from my Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire carts and realized that the former had a blue battery and the latter had a red one. Kind of a cool detail!

I rolled credits on my third game of 2025: Pokemon Emerald. I haven’t played this gen since it released, it was as good and watery as I remembered. The finishing team was Ludicolo, Blaziken and my ace, Magneton. I love these 3 Pokemon only challenges.

I just completed my second game of 2025 (not a great pace this year). Alan Wake II. What a masterpiece! Lots to love in here, but the use of live action video to empower some story bits was unreal.

Im so very tempted to build this guy. My The Master, Transcendent commander deck got a bit too high power, I think this might be the silly reanimator deck I’ve been looking for.

Today I rolled the credits on my first game of 2025: We love Katamari Reroll.
While the surprise factor of the first game hit me harder, this was a very enjoyable sequel!

Finished my first book of 2025: Parasite Eve. Can’t wait to replay the PS1 game to tie any loose ends with this new context.

I made a backlog of the games I want to play in 2025. It’ll of course change depending on new releases, but I’m quite excited to play these!
