Until United do something about it, clubs like Betis will continue taking the piss. All of this, what's happened tonight and the months-long delay has been deliberate. But the chances are United will cave, like they often do, and Betis'll be able to peacock on social media claiming victory.

And it's really, *really* annoying, but absolutely predictable, that a completely random drive-by with more holes in it than Swiss cheese is now going international, thanks to the usual suspects.

Everyone loves to poke and make fun of United's "toxic" online fanbase. Until something happens which *might* benefit their favourite league. In which case it's all totally fine.

While we all celebrate Edwards' plight, he's by no means an exception in that industry. They're just the same as every fan in this country; shamelessly propagandising for their club. But also get paid to print the occasional press release from a club/agent. And where are the United equivalents?

Speaking of which it'll never cease to amaze me how shameless this lot are. They'll "never forget" the abuse he took from United fans, but will whitewash the fact he was one of the most ridiculed players at the club from the greater British media landscape for years before his exit.

What an amazing coincidence that Spurs suddenly become more "hungry" after months of apparently lacking that hunger, and their first-choice goalkeeper. Winter's becoming far too over-exposed now he's free of a paywall.

It's telling they're still trying to frame these decisions as consequences of INEOS' decisions, and not the two decades preceding it. That transfer window was decent (certainly by our standards) and relative costs of EtH sacking exaggerated. Long-tenured staff aren't being sacked b/c *one* decision.

United just thrashed Liverpool 4-0, only lost once so far in the league after winning the FA Cup. Yet since day one in 2018, has always been a day away from extinction per its framing in the media. How unseriously must all the other teams take themselves, save the top-three?
