I find 2 help each other,, but it does take time to get them to a point, 2 carriers, 2 kings, 2 admirals, 2 triple elites,, I'm sure other players have 3's and 4's !!

very true, what I mean is,, other ships are better at specific tasks so I ended building more focussed ships, Phantom Explorer, Corvette Laser Miner etc and stopped using my Pythons :)
