Would STRONGLY recommend not microwaving in plastic but instead dump the contents into one or two ceramic bowls and use a silicone cover. Might solve your problem as well.

The straight line from embodiment to the Darwinian evolution of rudimentary qualia and hence consciousness all the way to intentionality seems pretty unavoidable to me. Higher cognitive functions not built on top of pain avoidance / pleasure seeking don’t tune against embodied reality.

Yeah, we don’t “know” the meaning of intentionality, but the same is true of any non-definitional abstract concept in the broader field.

We put our little ones to sleep by walking around the block while they were snuggled in a sling. At first they look, then get bored and lulled by rhythm of walking. Usually asleep in 10 minutes. Only works in a safe, quiet, not too brightly lit neighborhood of course.
