It also seems like there is a check on your collection when it awards loot from the blue bag. I have not yet received a duplicate appearance yet, at least.

I did run a character that had completed the feasting event already that day again but we only got the green bag. That seemed to contain the same amount of rewards, but wasn’t the overwhelmingly successful test I had hoped for. I continue to believe that event rewards are not reduced by repetition.

I turned over 400 cards and sold them for 373g18s89c. A shade of their former value, 10% as you say, but not worthless. If anything, buying and flipping cards is even more gamba than before.

I bought the fourth tab for my Warband Bank and a Token, just because. Oh, and then I deposited a million gold in the warbank to give my alts some walking around money.

I had the collected wisdom of many Goblin Sages to assist, but in particular, @samadan.bsky.social @stargrace.bsky.social @drizzlingrose.bsky.social and @arnota42.bsky.social have content and streams out there which always provide gems of advice to help people with their gold-making, at all levels.

My advice echoes the Goblin Giants of the day; your items won't sell if they sit as expired auctions in your mailbox. Repost/restock regularly and build a routine to stay consistent (I manage my mailbox every morning over coffee to wake up). Find a niche and build on it rather than chase the crowd.

What I believe has happened is that other crafters have left those markets as unprofitable or too bothersome, leaving me to find space to sell my items. I claim no goldmaking insight, just regular effort. What really made that gold was logging in and repost/recraft daily. Over, and over, and over...

But really, in a sense, it wasn't me that had to change, but the market. Since the launch of The War Within, I have found a strong demand for Legion glyphs, BfA scrolls and the occasional older enchant. I have sold Draenor Inscription weapons for transmog as well, but the bulk from commodities.

I had been doing very well with collecting gold during Shadowlands (and prior) but two game changes; the Regional Commodities Exchange and the Work Order system, cut the legs out from under my profits for quite some time. I had to spend basically all of Dragonflight learning how to compensate.

I am sorry for dropping off towards the end - the Kiddo called from Japan, where they are studying for the semester and wanted to chat. It is rare for a teenager to want to just talk to a parent and I must take advantage of those chances!
