They assessed a late penalty w/ interest. Was able to get the penalty reversed - they’re still coming after me for the $211 compounding interest on that penalty. 🙄

Still going back & forth on my ‘23 taxes. They say I filed late. I didn’t. I filed for an ext when my husband passed only 5 weeks prior, but sent a huge pmt for expected taxes with that filing & then filed by the extension deadline.
