I have looked at this a ton and he's right! There are NO rigorous peer reviewed studies showing faculty political leanings translate into skewed teaching or any form of vindictive grading or censorship on a systemic scale. Yes there are anecdotes, no there is NOT evidence of a widespread issue. 🗃️

Polling so far suggests Americans blame the party in power, Republicans, for the federal government shutdown. In keeping with virtually all recent historical polling evidence...in general, the blaming of the party in power only increases as effects of the shutdown worsen & hurt more🗃️ USA Today

Come to think of it, when I arrived on campus in 2022 and the fall semester was ramping up I recall seeing chalked welcome to Buckeye Nation signs and friendly words and smiley faces from campus orgs and groups ... And then there's Woody Hayes' final chalk thoughts, saved for yrs, never erased!
