Ugh this. I TRUST my patients. I fully expect to not know everything they know, just like I can’t expect them to know everything I know. Trust needs to be at the forefront. Providers don’t realize people have likely been researching/mind researching for YEARS! Thank you for sharing ♥️

This is such a common phrase in the medical field! It’s honestly very demeaning as well. Endocrinology is a foundational building block for literally everything and I’m so sorry you had to educate someone who should at the very least have novice to advanced knowledge! Thank you for sharing ♥️
