As far as bloodborne goes? That's obviously going to be a full remake for the PS6 where they charge 79.99 for it.

I mean, players keep supporting an anti consumer platform even though its competitors are offering better features such as this.

Why do you expect PS to care when the players clearly don't?

If it were up to me, people would be picking platforms based on features vs vibes and a pretty UI.

I don't see it as the destruction. At some point you won't either. You're just use to the old way of doing things. Streaming took out dvds and cds. It will take out consoles too. Idc about physical stuff because no one you're related to will want it when you die off. It'll end up in a landfill.
February 20, 2025 at 3:13 AM
I mean. Do you really think we're going to be gaming on consoles in the mid 30s? They're honestly doing what I would have thought 10 years ago in the mid 20s. So, just enjoy the ride. 3/3
February 20, 2025 at 3:03 AM
When we head to streaming wars. CoD won't be on PS+, neither will Minecraft, or elder scrolls. Xbox is already on just about every streaming device except android TV, apple TV, and roku. I think roku is later this year I bet. They will win long term and you get exclusive to cloud platform 2/3
February 20, 2025 at 3:03 AM
Just play on the Xbox anyways. Forget exclusives. You only want them to feel apart of a club. Gamepass is the club now. Watch everyone else pay more for the same games with less features (cloud, play anywhere, cross save, cross entitlement) 1/3
February 20, 2025 at 3:03 AM
They've been that since last generation started. The hardware architecture is even the same. Xbox OS is just cut down windows with a layer on top.
February 20, 2025 at 2:55 AM
PS and Xbox arent Nintendo. Their games don't sell like that. They're both third party machines.
February 20, 2025 at 2:22 AM
Because they're killing exclusives? No, that's a positive for the industry. If it worked, epic would be bigger than steam. This is the first dumb take I've seen him have.

You guys going live to laugh at the state of no play?

Easiest way to fix is to go into profile settings and mute the word phrase Rotten Tomatoes

He was goofy as hell for that 🤣🤣. He’ll make a PS is dead video next week.
January 31, 2025 at 5:00 PM
I bet now you’re thinking “shit, now I gotta talk about Forza today too”
January 30, 2025 at 8:32 PM
Yep, it’s about IP growth before there’s an eventual streaming wars.
January 30, 2025 at 7:17 PM
Yeah, I saw a statistic that once people subscribe to a service about 90% are likely to stay. If everyone did as he suggested and cancelled right after one game. No sub services would exist. Xbox also pushes the service because consumer spend is higher than if they don’t.
January 30, 2025 at 6:05 PM
I’m sure they’ll do something like that at some point. They’re not on every device yet. Roku, Android + Google TV, and Apple TV have no apps yet. Samsung TVs, LG TVs, Firestick and any web browser or windows PC they do exist. So, I’d say give it more time. They’re still expanding.
January 30, 2025 at 1:23 PM
They give it away with just about every laptop purchase. I just got three months for a new one.

And yes they will, like it or not.
January 30, 2025 at 1:20 PM
They’re going to be the Netflix or Prime video of games. The growth they’re getting in cloud and Pc is more than offsetting the negative growth in consoles. Just PC alone went up 30% while hw went down 29%. 140M cloud hours is 2.5X bigger than Nvidia numbers, so they’re doing very well there too.
January 30, 2025 at 12:44 PM
140M hours is pretty insane if you think about it.

30% growth on PC is good too.
January 30, 2025 at 5:25 AM
They’ll do more hardware, it just won’t be subsidized anymore. And OEMs will get in the mix. Still; the push is cloud and pc gamepass growth.

How much of the -7% gaming revenue is based on the -30% hardware revenue.
January 30, 2025 at 12:48 AM
I wonder how this 2024 data compares to an all time statistic. It’s interesting that it’s less than a 2 billion market now. I’d say by 2030 it’ll be less than 750 million at this rate.
January 24, 2025 at 7:32 PM
Fable is likely going to get the June end of show 45 min direct. With a big marketing push afterward up until release.
January 24, 2025 at 4:11 PM
Not having to really buy any games anymore is a big plus for me. With all of the game pass drops this year all I really have to get is GTA6. Every month they got us covered with bangers this year.
January 24, 2025 at 1:44 PM
Play on a phone, TV whatever, and on top of this have no downloads. It’s the future, always has been. MSFT sees the console players of today as essentially DVD players. No one cares if you buy stranger things on dvd. 98% watched it through Netflix. That’s what Gamepass will become imho.
