Ahhh…coming out of torpor after three weeks of below freezing temps. This one is probably hungry and searching for some good chow. It will probably hit my bird feeders for a snack tonight.

Yep - that’s a stuck tractor. Took us about 45 minutes to get it out of the bar ditch. Plowing ops continued and completed. :-)

Mary (one of our laying hens) has a prolapsed vent and is getting “the spa treatment” to remedy it. Epsom Salt soaks, Preparation H, and Vagistat are the order of the day. Hoping she recovers fully. Her prognosis is good and she loves her warm water and blow dryer ;-)

The hot fire burning like the times we shared together while they were here. When they had to return home…is the burnt out fire and cold ashes we are left with. We miss them already. Hope they come back soon. Let’s get the fire going again soon!
