An amorphous painting on many shreds of torn notes, drawings, and tape. The paint is black, leaving a shape reminiscient of a skull or face, yet there is very little detail that can be made from it. There's a smokey quality to the painted shape. An 8.5x11 paper with shredded tissue that's been painted and glued on. The tissue has been torn into differing sizes of small, tall rectangles that are a darker black at the bottom of the canvas, getting lighter at the top. The bottom half of the paper canvas is full of nearly black thin rectangles. The paint is so thickly placed, it leaves the pieces of tissue a distorted, wet texture. There's some space in the middle, where the white paper is revealed. The top portion of the paper canvas has been filled with very lightly painted rectangular shreds of tissue. A cyanotype that's a deep blue hue. The imagery on the paper is difficult to discern. It's streaky and dark in values. The background layer of the composition depicts a darkly lit pavement, maybe a street or a parking lot. It appears as though it recently rained. The foregound has a small circle at the center, which is split in half by a curved line. Illegible words are inside of the circle, as well as a darkened impression of a bird. The shape of the bird may either imply that it is in flight, or that it may be dead.

Close inspection, however, suggests that such innocent depictions are symbolically complex: the distinctly human manner in which this dog grips the corncob suggests that the figure may in fact be a shaman transformed into a dog. Among the few domesticated animals in the New World, dogs were common companions of warriors in battle. In addition, many Pre-Columbian cultures believed that dogs guided the dead through the underworld in the afterlife. Corndog messily sketched dog with the cob The background is black, the cob and dog are drawn in white. The likeness is somewhat similar to the photograph of the sculpture. This dog has bugged out eyes, and squiggly paw-hands.
