Disappointed that our state and Attorney General is not listed as fighting to bring OUR tax dollars back to Nebraska's schools. #neleg

The contrast of the celebration of fireworks while we worry for our family, neighbors, and country weighs on so many of us tonight.

Take time to acknowledge your grief, clear your head, charge your spirt.. .and then we come together and work for a better tomorrow.

Dear Representative Bacon, I woke up to a beautiful sunrise this morning and, for a moment, I forgot my dread and fear for our country.

The Administration is withholding education $ due to the states as of July 1. What are Nebraska's elected officials doing to ensure our federal tax dollars are correctly deposited to fund critical school services? #neleg

Governor Pillen
Representative Bacon
Senator Fischer Senator Ricketts

Who is still up tonight? Plz call Senators Fischer & Ricketts to vote NO on this harmful legislation.

Senator Scott's amendment is in addition to already devastating cuts in the reconciliation bill.. .Plz remember Nebraskans voted at the ballot box in 2018 to expand Medicaid in our state.

Did you know that Nebraska Legislative District 4 overlaps with Omaha City Council Districts 5, 6, and 7?

All events are open to all Omaha residents, and I attended the District 6 Dialogue held last week. /2

The comprehensive Omaha Master Plan (adopted in 1997) is being updated, and conversations are being held in each city council district for members of the community to discuss what is important to their neighborhood and city as a whole. /1

I delivered letters to my three members of Congress this afternoon. Hopefully, enough constituents contacting Senator Fischer, Senator Ricketts, and Representative Bacon will give them the courage to stand up for us and the Constitution.

Always proud to support local businesses like Baker's Lakeside Plaza and the Foodbank for the Heartland last week as they work to help neighbors struggling with food insecurity. Please take a look at this list of most-needed food items and consider donating to their next drive!

I recently went to a townhall hosted by Senator Armendariz (LD18), Senator Sorrentino (LD39), and Senator von Gillern (LD4). More than fifty people attended and it was good to see Bennington, Elkhorn, and west Omaha neighbors engaged with their elected representatives! /1

Senators that confirmed Secretary Kennedy made a grave error w/every family's health across our country.

If this policy stands, Americans will be unable to protect their loved ones w/choice to vaccinate against COVID19 as recommended by trusted medical experts. I hope science & reason will prevail.

This comes after patients and their loved ones again shared their stories and frustration at three listening sessions hosted by bipartisan groups of Nebraska Senators in La Vista, Omaha, and Lincoln earlier this month. /2

☎️ Right NOW on the floor of the Nebraska Legislature, Senator Andersen is trying to hijack Senator Quick’s LB192 regarding SNAP eligibility with an unfriendly Amendment. Please call your Senator immediately and tell them to vote NO on AM1131 and vote YES on LB192. #neleg

Legislators across the political spectrum voted down a bill that would've switched our current system of splitting electoral college votes to a winner-take-all method. Thanks to the 18 Senators that rejected more partisanship in our elections: 15 Democrats, 1 Independent, 2 Republicans.
