One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election.

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

Final Fantasy Tactics was ahead of its time.
Finished @jasonschreier.bsky.social ‘s book “Play Nice. The Rise, Fall and Future of Blizzard Entertainment.” Loved it. After growing up on these games, it was enlightening to finally hear the history behind them. So much talent and human cost went into the classics.

You should care about accessibility just on principle, because it's good and right and important.
But if you can't manage that, you should care because at any moment you or your loved ones could be struck the fuck down by an act of God and need their entire world to become accessible overnight.
