This doesn’t surprise me. So many of the people I grew up with and are still friends with are millionaires now. They or their husbands worked in tech or medicine or hit the markets well with their retirement accounts. They’re all retired now and traveling and subsidizing their children.

I volunteer for my local Dems and the infighting is so wearying. Being a Big Tent Party is hard, especially when everyone is worn out. The other folks seem to just be happy to go along with whoever makes them feel good about themselves via trashing others. We are cats, they are sheep.
