My comments were actually directed at Aaron Rupar (and Paul McCartney). While this misdirection is entirely my fault (and unfortunately reveals my complete technological incompetence), I must say that the reference to the woeful "Silly Love Songs" should have given some hint as to my intended target

Ha! Ha! Ha! Really? The guy who wrote "Silly Love Songs"? Be serious. Your politics are great. Your taste in music, not so much. Embarrassing.

I'm still donating, but I'm afraid wiki is doomed. I found their "Works Cited" pages very helpful.

I'm really glad Stewart made that stand, but wow, he is barely watchable now (to me). It seems like his act is 90% mocking people's accents and gestures. Juvenile.

Personally, of the national announcers, I would put SVG and Reggie near the top. And when I compare them to JVG and Mark Jackson, I absolutely love them.

I have a question for anybody on the thread (not sure this is the appropriate forum, but I'll give it a shot anyways): why did the Clips give up on both Plumlee and Theis in favor of Eubanks? I thought both P and T were above average backups. Eubanks, sorry to say, isn't contributing much.

Modern information technologies don't seem to be working that well so far, do they?

I think what the MAJORITY of technology does (and I'm including typewriters, electric typewriters, computers, internet, search engines, and AI) is that it helps individuals who have it compete. That doesn't mean it makes our lives "better," or even that it helps us perform specific tasks "better."

We did too! (No ketchup, but we have three pounds of lunch meat).

That's a story that needs to be shared.
