Yes, the shutdown sucks. Yes, people are pissed and people are struggling. But you let red states like mine feel the pinch and make republicans blink first. The long term cost of agreeing to a future vote from a bunch of lying fucking Nazis is NOT how you negotiate. They made it be for nothing.
