I heard this recently on a podcast and it really resonated with me: continuously making small changes to your desk setup & IDE configuration. You get to experiment with things, some things you keep, some things you don't, but it keeps it fresh

It's pricey but the Voyager and they just released a trackball for it. Honestly the best money I've spent on my desk (barring the actual computer)

In our home, that person would just join your call. Would be chatting to a friend and my mum would just pip in: "Hello? Oh, sorry!"

Where the hell has this thread been all my life???

This does look a lot like git worktrees! I was put off by the "no" in their docs. Will definitely take a closer look, thank you!

I really want to try jj but my workflow now demands (DEMANDS) git worktrees. I've tried reading the docs, but I'm not sure what the support is like:

git- worktree: No. However, there's native support for multiple working copies backed by a single repo. See the jj workspace family of commands.

I'm reading this:

"I told it not to write code automatically, not to modify files automatically, and it replied “sorry, OK” in the previous sentence, but it started to modify it in the next sentence"

And I have to ask:

"You know it doesn't understand you, right?"
