Saw Life of Chuck at a preview. I'm a fan of Flanagan (director). A very heart-warming, non-horror movie. It made me laugh, cry a little, and think about it for a few days. To paraphrase the late basketball coach Jim Valvano--that's a heck of day. Young actor--Chuck in mid school--was phenomenal.

This memoir by indie rock's Neko Case (her own band, and New Pornographers) is incredible. She survived a rough childhood (poor, neglected) to carve out beauty as an artist and badass rocknrolla. If you like rock bios, this is great stuff. #NEKOCASE

A little dusting this morning in northern NJ. Not enough to make trails difficult but enough to look oh so nice and fresh.

From 2023. It's good but definitely does get dragged down by some side excursions that seem unnecessary. I have not yet gotten to the story of Waldemar Mordechai Wolff Haffkine, which is supposed to be best part of the book.
