Congress can rein in Trump's abuse of power and stop these destructive, price-raising tariffs: @repdelbene.bsky.social and I introduced the Prevent Tariff Abuse Act.
Our bill would stop this and restore legal balance to trade powers. Congress should pass it. 7/7

The most effective protests harness the power of money: withholding it from those we wish to influence, contributing to efforts which batter the opposition. Protests which do neither have very little leverage; no one is afraid of signs.

Those are noble efforts, but the reality is that without financial pressure the fascists are not concerned. As Gandhi said: if one is not capable of great harm, one cannot claim to be non- violent: they are harmless. Same goes for a society that has chosen wealth as power. Act accordingly.
