We finally got some Shenmue news last month, and I for one can't wait to revisit Shenmue III with all the new enhancements from @iningames.bsky.social.

I grew to love Shenmue III after the agonising 18 year wait, and now rank it as highly as the first two games.

I'm nostalgic about the Shenmue III @kickstarter.com... I was skint at the time, so could only manage the lowest tier, but it did mean I got to follow the updates and know that I'd contributed a tiny bit towards its release.

I still want to play Shenmue IV @iningames.bsky.social!

I was looking through some Shenmue footage and I was hit by the powerful realisation that it's SO LONG AGO since I first played it.

A considerable amount of my life has passed, but I can still remember the feeling of being 12 and utterly transfixed by Shenmue. I still feel it now.

I was 12 when I first experience Shenmue. I'm getting on for 40 now. This series has been my constant companion. But I'd also really like to close the door on it now. I don't want to be 60 when Shenmue IV comes out.
