I think it’s so important for artists to protect our mental health and notice when we’re pushing too hard. I kept redoing the same piece over and over and the stress was high. Art shouldn’t feel that way. So I decided to just sketch without a purpose and this dragon was a reminder of how fun art is.

After landing a 9 to 5 job, I’ve realized it’s nearly impossible to have the energy—or willpower—to do anything besides lay down after :c But ay I managed to hype myself up enough to sketch this fella

That is so cool!! I adopted her when she was 3, her owner had some pretty bad circumstances in life and I was supposed to foster her a bit! Well the fostering part failed and she has been my bestie since, she is turning 13 this year
