Camera technology exists. Putting a camera on a bicycle is easy. But Thames Valley Police is not exactly enthusiastic if you report road crime to them.

What makes you think that? Evidence usually shows that better walking/cycling environments improve personal safety, reduces crime. Not to speak of traffic safety obviously.

It also just shows how shit their electoral system is. Other countries in Europe manage to have a strong far right party (which is terrible, don't get me wrong) without them magically gaining a majority in parliament due to fucked up voting systems
