Inspiring, but our species is not built for peace. The part of our lizard brain that knows cooperation is key to survival has to compete with the parts that are greedy and nasty. The greedy, nasty parts are usually in charge. In an age of instant gratification, that's deadly.

New military recruits get this oath explained to them in terms anyone who qualifies for service can understand. There is no excuse acceptable for violating this oath.

"Peace in our time." A time that was inevitably short, and directly tied to the punitive armistice that ended The Great War. It was but a 20-year pause in a war that was clearly not resolved in 1918. That leadership vacuum is again driving us to conflict.

Yes, I thought "just deserts" was spelled with two esses, like the stuff after dinner. English is a wild ass language. www.merriam-webster.com/grammar/just...

When two alley cats get it on behind the laundromat, at least there's the possibility one gets eliminated. The fight itself is certainly entertaining, especially if you hate cats. Watching Space Laser dipshit get her just deserts is karmic, even at the hands of #PvtBoneSpurs.

I appreciate folks who take the time to wade through capitalist propaganda in order to let us regular people know just what the oligarchs are lying about now. The only thing the New York Times is good for is soaking up vomit, piss, and shit. Appropriate, since that is all that appears in that rag.

The horrors of socialism? The capitalist tools in Congress get more socialized benefits than 99% of their constituents. Benefits we pay for. Millionaires should let those cuts under their noses heal. Fucking whiny assholes trying to keep the whole cake for themselves.

Our democracy is self-sorting: You honor, follow, and defend the U.S. Constitution, or you are an enemy to be vanquished. Pretty simply, even for MAGAts. Stop picking your nose and pick your side.

A stick in the eye of #BibiTheButcher. If Netanyahu thought #TACO was his buddy, he's going to have one of those deer-in-the-headlights moment when he realizes the #OrangeAbomination has no loyalty to anyone or anything except Drumpf, Inc. The kickback he gets from MBS makes this worth it.

I'm not used to giving MAGAts any credit for skulduggery, since they never seem to have the smarts for it. Maybe this is just more high-school-popularity bullshit, like it always is in MAGAt-ville, and maybe it's a way to lull Dems to sleep. With the old and decrepit "leadership," that ain't hard.

'someone he now feels “very, very comfortable” with, someone whose vision for housing affordability, utilities, childcare, and public transit he broadly agreed with.'
Does #TACO simply love "winners," no matter the political bent, or is this some sort of new strategy?
