I sometimes do things with hardware, and sometimes I don't.
Technology gets cheaper as it improves, healthcare gets more expensive. Mostly because the people running the show want more money for the "work" they do, even though most of the actual research and development of things are done on the taxpayer's dime.

Considering the Commander in Chief is the one where the buck stops, and he works for ... checks notes ... the American people, I suspect that any of those people should have standing to sue at least the one on the left (it might only be Floridians with that right for the guy to the right).

Be psychopathic, have limited morals and no ethics, be willing to lie about yourself and your capabilities, and take most of the credit for the work of others.

Rinse and repeat until you, too, are an unethical billionaire (and yes, I wrote the same thing twice on purpose).

I'd be angry with that setup too, honestly. Get a decent office chair and desk, my spine hurts just watching that.

If both parties are the same, they should start acting like it. I agree, no more reaching across the aisle, no more bipartisan nonsense - do exactly as they do, after they do it first. Play the game like a 5-year-old, just do things that are actually good for the majority of Americans with it.

Did you read the article?

"Mexican officials have not publicly accused the boxer of any crimes. His attorney, Michael Goldstein, told the Associated Press that 'the current allegations are outrageous and simply another headline to terrorize the community.'"

As the paraphrasing of the saying goes, at least back until the time of Plato: when the punishments are only monetary, the rules are only for the lower class.

Being smart and being intelligent are two separate things. School can educate your mind, but only intelligence can make you see the truth from the lies you've been taught. A lot of people, educated or not, are incapable of the latter.

Hmmmmmm........

Is there something specific I can do to make that happen? Without being a trash human being, though.
June 29, 2025 at 5:57 PM
There's a decent chunk of humanity that has a hard time dealing with the reality of humanity, to be fair. Adding in something like a half-decent AI to that group is... somewhat dangerous. For everyone.

They’re a bit inseparable even 5 years later.

How dare you.

I see nothing. My eyes are closed because that picture is just a giant sneeze :)

The longer this goes, the less I think that is accurate.

With that in juror's minds, how likely would it be for all jurors on a panel to convict parents who just lost a 7-year-old child to poor, car-centric design that relies entirely on the attention of passing drivers at 45MPH+, and provides literally no room for error for the pedestrians at all?
June 6, 2025 at 11:08 PM
I suspect either charges will be dropped, or they will have a VERY hard time finding a jury sympathetic to the prosecution's case. A decent lawyer could prove that even if the child on the sidewalk falls while with their parents, they run the *very real* risk of being struck by a passing vehicle.
June 6, 2025 at 11:06 PM
If you look at the area near the grocery store, there's a sidewalk only on one side of the 4-lane road, it is *right* up next to that road with no buffer, and no sidewalk on the opposite side. There are no nearby crosswalks, and the speed limit is 45MPH. This is not safe for anyone walking at all.

Like I said - I'm glad you have some hope that the current kids going through school can spot the scam, but I sincerely don't believe they can or will. If they're educated the same way by similar people, we're cooked for awhile.
June 4, 2025 at 9:50 PM
The generation that just went through school voted for Trump at higher rates than they voted for him in 2020, across the board. I do not hold out hope that our education system, nor the people responsible for raising these kids, will be intelligent and well-educated enough to do any of the sort.
June 4, 2025 at 8:24 PM
I... I don't see it. Perhaps you can provide a hint.
June 3, 2025 at 8:28 PM
Sorry to see the damage and hear how it is affecting you. I can't really do much of anything to help except send some good thoughts your way, but if there's something else that can be done without invading your privacy, let me (us?) know.

Why is it always Colorado? They’ve been bad since the 2020 COVID season…
