It’s especially baffling when they got him to reprise the role in the SpongeBob: Titans of Tide video game that just came out this month. Mark Hamil’s a great voice actor but it’s not the same as Brian Doyle Murray.

I know Scott Fellows was working on both shows at the time but this reference feels especially Johnny Test coded.

The new character and celebrity designs feel more Futurama than Simpsons, the main and supporting cast look so out of place now it distracts me.

I feel even if a new show came along and proved more successful than SpongeBob, nick would still try their hardest to keep SpongeBob relevant until the show crashes and burns like Rugrats before it (and FOP and arguably LH now)

The most fascinating thing about The X’s was the fact John K had a voice role in the bowling episode. Given that the show was made after Adult Party Cartoon, you’d think Viacom would have blacklisted him by then.

Nice seeing Jakers! back on the airwaves in some way. Hasn’t been aired since Qubo’s final week back in 2021.

Bluey Was Almost Dubbed With American Accents For U.S. Audiences
The iconic Australian accents and lingo featured in Bluey almost didn’t make the trip to North America. The most popular kids show on the planet, Bluey has become a staple for families everywhere, and...

It still baffles my mind that CN tried to get their hands on Bluey but failed too. Maybe Cartoonito would have stood a standing chance had they been successful.

It’s crazy how we’ve lost three kids channels this year alone (Smile, Universal Kids, this one.) I get most kids are online now but even there, they have more or less no spaces for themselves so at least TV still gave kids some space but, now even that’s fading away. There’s hardly anything now.

He then went on to call Nick the “Garage Sale Network” for getting that show so cheap compared to their originals.
