Ooooh hoohoohoo this is good! John Fugelsang’s new book - which is a New York Times bestseller - explains why there are Christians and there are Christ followers. What exactly happened along the way to a religion that espouses the opposite of what the religion’s savior actually preached.

I saw this and thought of you and Simon (great segment as usual btw). At first I was horrified that my friend was reposting Manifest Destiny but then I looked more closely…

I love this woodland sunflower that was here when I moved in. I am blessed to be surrounded by nature, which I have allowed to come back home on my 0.2 acres in suburban Atlanta. Take some time to savor the moment.

The phoebes discovered the cat kibble a few years ago and now here is one parent teaching the next generation. They also eat plenty of insects in my natural backyard. I love that birds can raise their young here!

My morning routine has always been reading with coffee - or listening to podcasts. But with the current stress level, definitely reading and definitely gardening! Shoutout to Doug Tallamy and also Timber Press which publishes nature books. Love both of them!

Gardening! Growing food is the ultimate resistance.
Peas coming up and seedlings going strong.
Someday I hope to have a bit more land and a real green house.

It’s been several years since I played in photography. I could hardly remember how to use the processing software. But suddenly I want to create beauty again. Here is a Datura that I photographed in the Grand Canyon a few years ago.

I’ve been savoring this for a long time. I don’t want it to end. It’s brought clarity about the poverty of our culture which is all about what I can take, rather than what is freely given and how I can live in reciprocity. Being a part of a network of giving is so much richer than hoarding wealth.

The cat trees are more popular since I moved them from the dining room to the living room. I have no idea why…I guess they aren’t going back #notgoingback
