With Young Mancunians being reissued under Cooper Lee I’m once again on the lookout for anyone who would be interested in reviewing it for me? It is a short story cycle consisting of 213 pages, so not heavy going really. Looking for honest reviews for Goodreads and will send reviewers the ebook.

I watch Scotland play football just to hear that anthem sung. Wish the English had a song about kicking out a monarch and his army.

Call me crazy, but I just have this nagging feeling that the Prince Andrew coverage of last week is being swept away by the BBC news of today and that it’s a bit dodgy.

6th Jan, 2021 was almost 6 years ago. We all know what Trump said and what he was claiming. It doesn't matter what bits were put in and where for a BBC documentary, it was clear how Trump's words could have fired up an angry mob.

Sounds like the BBC is under attack to me.

1st chapter in my serialisation on free speech:

"Free speech has been utterly bastardised, no longer referring to protection from state interferences, but protection for those in power, and for those who benefit most from the social hierarchies of Western society, from social consequences."

Working on a new book - Free Speech as Commodity Fetishism (working title). I'm fed up with actors like Musk, Trump and Farage using free speech to defend hate speech.

Here's the introduction!

One of my friends said my book, Young Mancunians, is better than Dostoevsky. Of course, that's an outrageous statement, but I'm running with it anyway.

Young Mancunians - out now.

@ofcom.bsky.social I'd like to make a complaint here as it seems that Richard Tice MP is misleading the public in a way that could cause potential harm to audiences.
Richard Tice doubles down on questioning the safety of paracetamol, and wants to "shine the spotlight of the disinfectant of sunshine on the issue"
September 25, 2025 at 6:43 PM
Someone should tell Richard Tice that a head of state doesn't have the freedom to lie. Claims made by, say, the US President have to be as factual as possible. Stating on live TV that Tylenol can cause autism is not protected under "free speech".
