The information night on Oct 28 explained the legal process to the people of #richmond. The Attorney General from the Province promised to work on the issue. The city, feds, Musqueam and Tsawassen bands have all appealed the courts decision to grant the Cowichan band title to the lands.

What’s happening at Metro Vancouver? Well, you can go onto their website and read about the budget I recently attended a meeting, called council of councils where we learned about the tax increases we can expect metro to pass down to the cities in Metro Vancouver.

In August 6, people were scammed out of $560,000. They believed the Chinese police station was going to extradite them to China. If they did not pay bail money don’t be a victim call the RCMP if this happens to you

Mayor Brodie is retiring November 2026 from his mayoral duties in #richmond . I wish him a great retirement with family and friends. After 25 years he has earned a break ! You don’t have to worry the city is in good hands as he passes the torch to us ..

#Richmond it’s a beautiful waterfront city where I love to paddle in a dragon boat on the north arm of the Fraser river. Sometimes on Thursday nights or serenaded by this most amazing group of musicians. We can see the mountains. We often are visited by a seal !

The #richmond oval will have the contribution from the Richmond taxpayers reduced to 2.5 million tonight. After a 1 1/2 hour debate Only Mayor Brodie councillors Alexa Loo and Chak Au voted against it at the General Purposes committee meeting on July 7th.

I visited Whistler on the weekend and what a beautiful trip. The Olympic village is just outside of town and well worth checking out. You can walk all the way to the top of the ski lift.

Translink announced today that they will create 40 new or improved bus routes in early September 2025. Their email address is media@translink.ca I hope this means improved service for #Richmond
