Our little-ish town in CT (pop 10k) brought out about 1500. It was a wonderful day and filled me with hope.

Old Saybrook, CT (pop 10k) really showed up today to show our LOVE for America — nearly 2k strong! It was joyful and it filled me with so much Hope!

In my small CT town (pop 10k) nearly 2k amazing and concerned citizens turned out to show their LOVE of America and their disdain for Rump and his regime. We lined both sides of Main Street and had an incredible amount of horns in support. It was joyous and filled me with Hope.

I live in a house in CT that was built c. 1680s, added on to in 1745, & has “seen some things” in the last 345+/- years. For the first national holiday since I moved here I’ll not be putting up the bunting I normally do to mark this occasion. I’m incredibly sad. Heartbroken, really.
