just watched del toro's frankenstein; absolutely fantastic, but thought his design (before The Incident) could use some more "monstrousness"- especially with the narrative's focus on his appearance, and how he's treated for it

realistic anatomy isn't really one of my strengths, but oh well lol
artwork depicting the monster (or "the creature") from del toro's frankenstein. his head is now more rectangular, his brow more pronounced, etc. it brings him closer to his more traditional appearance while- i'd hope- keeping the strengths of his design in del toro's film

ERAM fullbody design i did a while ago, still wearing the shadowmantle. heavily inspired by @/krisdpizza's ERAM gijinka!!!
my ERAM design. immediately it's noticeably stocky, and stands in a wide stance. the shadowmantle is loosely tied together as it hangs across their shoulders. it has a popped collar like a vampire, and it surrounds its head which pokes out of the top with a fanged grin. the head is essentially just the top of its sprite in-game. atop a loose suit of fabric with its waist tied for security, it wears more detailed versions of kris' armour. the gauntlets in specific are noticeably clawed, and they + the boots help tie up the suit on the ends of the arms and legs. the mantle is depicted like more of a cape than anything. it smoothly fans out to the sides, ending in a sharp spike-cut pattern at the bottom, vaguely resembling bat wings. the design, but coloured. the inside of its cape and mouth are highlighted a vibrant orange, while everything else is pure black. the light of the cape casts a sharp silhouette of its body.

my interpretation of the gasters. i was a greenster truther before it was cool
dr gaster, and some variants of him. his living undertale-self has a standard humanoid build. he's got devil horns, a sort of L-shaped nose, rectangular green glasses, black pants and boots, a white lab coat & lanyard, and a face that looks like a less messed up version of mysteryman's. like mysteryman, his pupils are different sizes his deltarune version is similar. he wears a green button-up sweater, a pink turtleneck, and black pants that are visibly more casual than his undertale self's. his pointy boots are swapped out for casual loafers, and his glasses are circular next to these is his undertale self after being "shattered across time and space", and the forgotten man. UT gaster looks very similar to mysteryman, but with the horns this design has, and with his shadowy body extending up to his head in a way that makes him resemble a nun. the forgotten man's face is obscured by a low-detailed painting of the tree, but what's visible is just a monochrome version of deltarune gaster text on-screen labels them as "UNDERTALE: The Underground's Royal Scientist" and "DELTARUNE: Hometown's Child Psychologist" respectively. on the side of the screen, the uboa edit seen in earthbound halloween hack, the "piece of gaster" that one of his followers holds, and the surprised mysteryman sprite are all listed as inspirations

drawings of chester and togore, the undertale and deltarune fan-characters. chester is by @/DarkWorldRaltzy. togore is basically exactly the same, but chester has some stylisation. he has some light facial hair, a bit of a mullet, and a vaguely koala-like nose text says "both are roughly 18", before continuing "asriel is, and dess would have been, close to 20. the holidays and dreemurrs both had children around the same time, and then another about a year later; also at the same time".

adult frisk (..and chara, but ive posted them before) design #undertale
adult designs of frisk and chara. frisk is a little taller, non-white with curly shoulder-length hair, has cartoony "closed" rectangle eyes, a droopy coat, and high-waisted pants. they're grinning. chara has much shorter hair, a vest over a loose and fancy collared shirt, trousers, etc. they have a similar expression to their patient in-game smile, but less creepy with lidded eyes

my takes on various tenna archetypes #deltarune
four tenna designs. "big-headed asshole", "mettaton", "fake dreemurr", and "snail". getting this part out of the way- all of them have shit-eating grins on their face. the first has a square head, misshapen and cartoony fedora, stage headset + mic, and the shape of the opening in his jacket makes a "T". the second has an almond-shaped head (like lancer but different). he has an orb on each side of the uppermost part of his head, and his face is a screen like Guy Manuel from daft punk. shoulder pads, big puffy gloves, fat and plain robotic torso, etc. his eyes are the letters "TV", which looks like an emoticon winking the third has a pretty standard fancy suit. but his head is one of a goat, resembling an exaggerated upside down pentagon (reasoning for this can be found in the second image). he has sunglasses, and his horns curve outwards that- in conjunction with his down-pointing ears- create a sort of crescent moon effect. he's pointing a finger gun. the last is essentially the design seen on gonintendo's most recent deltarune update that shows a design many believe is tenna. he has a hanna barbera-looking face, suit + tie, antennae coiling from his head, and a big shell visible on his back. a discord screenshot of text explaining "fake dreemurr" tenna's satanic design influence. it reads... and no, "fake dreemurr" tenna isnt just a devil parallel because he can be it's because the dreemurrs already have major satanic themes in undertale asgore is a massive, goat-man king of an underground land filled with monsters, who wields a trident and fire magic

i have a more full-blown au, but i wanted to post how i interpret the canon versions of a few of the bigger players. obviously including stylisation for dave in particular #fnaf
doodles of henry and william's busts. henry is notably taller, has short but wild hair, unkempt and stubby facial hair, and wide eyes with deep bags underneath like he's wide awake and exhausted at the same time. he's grimacing. william has square-rimmed glasses and looks contrastingly charming. he has chin fuzz that looks like the beginnings of a goatee. both are going slightly gray and have receding hairlines and wrinkles you'd expect from a ~40 year old. william afton, dave miller, and steve raglan side-by-side. william is copy pasted from the image of him and henry. they progressively get older, with steve being 50-something. under them is written their weights in order- william is fat, dave is underweight, and steve "just has kind of a dad bod". dave has a buzzcut, visible stubble, eyebags, no eyebrow hair, and looks a bit sickly. he's thinner, and the middle of his dot-eyes are white. steve is essentially just a drawing of his movie appearance, implying that the other williams would also look like matthew lillard somewhat.

stylised designs of mario's koopa troopas, goombas, piranha plants, boos, cheep-cheeps, dry bones (only its head) and phanto. the koopas are much more stout and tortoise-like. the piranha plants visibly take large inspiration from Audrey 2 (little shop of horrors) and somewhat resemble the cow plant from the sims series. the boos are heavily stylised and look more like a mix of OFF's spectres and the pacman ghosts. the goombas have some fish features for some reason and look much more mushroom-y bullet bill and two thwomps, featuring the- to my knowledge- fan observation of different types of thwomps being wild and domesticated respectively. the style of the thwomps resembles ancient aztec artworks and contain similar teeth and eyes to the boos, suggesting they are living, carved depictions of the undead in this world. the wild ones contain cubic patterns, while the domesticated ones have had their edges carved to be armed with spikes. as for the bullet bills, they have no arms, and are notably 'pointier' in design. they have a single fin on top and a back-end that tapers off like a tail. their faces are painted(?) to look like the iconic shark face nose art of military planes the shy guys' stout and cylindrical features have been played upon to give them something of a more "gnomeish" appearance

large infodump (sorry it's a screenshot from the other site, i posted it there first and am not retyping all that lol) if you're curious about creative decisions. also, the original concept art for my sona version
infodump about certain choices i made, comprised mostly of bullet points... one: the custom soul, which is white, is "determination" (the personality trait, not the property of human souls. two: the reason it looks so much like kris is because i do, and the reason the dark world design basically rips them off is because i feel heavily connected to them as a person. three: their skin is yellow (like frisk + kris) simply because it looked better than actual white, ie. chara. concept art of my sona's dark world outfit which i later reused for my actual "humansona"

humansona, feat. kris on the far left for reference. includes one in a sweater, and one next to it with a jacker over top and fingerless gloves. former represents homewear while latter represents a mountain-climbing outfit for a more prepared approach to mt. ebott. the dark world outfit is essentially exactly the same as kris', except their weird ascot thing is more of an obvious cape that covers most of their chest. their soul colour is white. their sweater features the two-stripe appearance of the vessel and frisk's outfits, but the stripes are thicker to mirror kris and chara's outfits. all of their light world clothing is monochrome, their skin is the same yellow as frisk/kris, and the shadow over their eyes is purple- all of this combines to create the nonbinary colour palette, if you choose to view it that way. edit of the ones on the left designed to look like my sona (despite it being humanoid, not human). the skin is grey, it's visibly skinnier, the hair is somewhat blocky for stylistic reasons, and its light world clothing matches my sona's. the sona being skinnier represents its cartoonier proportions while the actual human one is 1 pixel wider to represent how ive got a little chub about me
