Since I just did this for Superman-

Quote post with the Batman comic book that was released the month you turned 10.

Mine is a classic from Norm Breyfogle and Anthony Tallin.

This is fun. I turned 15 the summer after the Death of Superman story, just in time for his resurrection in June 1993. The comic came in a white polybag which was meant to mirror the black “bleeding S” polybag from his death issue.

The Secrets of the Batcave is a classic, but I was obsessed with this diagram of Titans Tower as a kid. I tried to build it out of LEGO several times.

The way I will see Superman solely for this shot alone.

(I'm seeing it for many, many other reasons too. But this gets me.)

Post a fictional character who you think would be an antivaxxer.

Hard mode: No villains.

She’s absolutely “just doing her own research”

I hate sharing pictures of either of these two shit birds, but sorry how does anyone take either one seriously? You’ve got Cokey McKetamine struggling to make both eyes move in the same direction and the Rapist in Chief wearing so much orange foundation even Coco Montrese is like, “Girl…”

The page is from one of my favorite semi-forgotten books: Peter David and Gary Frank’s Supergirl in the mid-90s. In it, Supergirl is merged with Linda Danvers, a troubled twentysomething with a dark past and is all about redemption and finding light in darkness.

I know a lot of us are feeling overwhelmed and helpless lately. It’s made me think about what can I do as one person against a mountain of pain and cruelty. And I keep coming back to this scene from a comic book from 30 years ago.

A brief thread:

It's 3am and I'm getting home from the 2nd worse day of my life. It was spent in four different vet clinics as I had to watch as my best friend slowly faded from me. His name was Colby and he was my favorite thing in the world. I'm heartbroken and don't know how I'll get through. I miss him so much.

This is a VERY simple sample. Two things to remember:

Adding a few lines from your own experience is essential. Tell them why this matters to YOU personally.

That said, keep it brief. The best messages are 150 words or fewer. That’s true whether you email or call.
