I've never really believed in any religion so I don't really feel like I should speak for any religious group. At the end of the day, it's a whole lot easier to... post/view content other places than it is to just up and change your entire religion. Another app will take over soon enough anyway lol

Alright lol idk I'm really failing to see how religion and a silly video app are this closely related. Feels like a pretty major leap to me. Sometimes it's just best to agree to disagree 😂

It just doesn't feel like an appropriate term to me because it's one social media app. I don't feel like a nation losing access to an app is equivalent to people fearing for their lives and safety. 🤷🏻♀️
The tiktok ban is upsetting, but we're all just moving on to other socials, not fleeing from danger

I was just trying to say the term refugee refers to someone seeking shelter and safety from war/persecution/etc and it seems a bit out of touch to use it in reference to... a social media platform. The original post really wasn't that deep tbh. Just pointing out an observation/opinion
