Because hes a bird in a human suit he’s obsessed with shiny things aka gold so obviously he has a thing for Bulawang Dagat and he enjoys being an incredibly lavish lakan

Lakan Manipaum is one of those sphinxes though he may or may not even be aware that he isnt human. His mother found him underneath a sphinx nest as an infant with claw marks all over his face and just assumed the sphinx was going to eat him

So in my character’s world there are sphinxes that live in the northernmost regions, it is said that if a sphinx eats human flesh then its offspring will be born with human faces..and if those offspring do the same after many generations their offspring will look and speak like a normal human

at first raffy doesnt even like bulawan that much but because he’s a sweetheart even when he’s grumpy he tolerates being around him. also even raffy cannot resist bulawan’s bakla charm

that’s exactly what bulawan is thinking too hehe
