Happy Beltane everyone.

I drank all my water. I had three meals with fruit and/or veggies in all of them. I had ice cream for a treat and did both morning & evening stretches. Plus brushed my teeth! Extra activity was moving furniture.
Had Heathcliff break into the apartment to wish me a good night as I finished my yoga.

I've got to hold myself accountable somewhere external. I *need* to get healthier. I *want* to feel pretty.
The plan: Stretches & movement in the AM. 1 activity during the day (walk, dance etc) 3 healthy meals w/ fruit &/or veg + protein. Snacks are limited but NOT denied. Stretches before bed.

Today it is official.
Esme took her afternoon nap upstairs where the Evil Heathcliff lives. I think it's because she misses Scott because she's sleeping on his desk.

For the first time in 11 months, Scott is going to work.
The girls have forgotten what this looks like and the boy has never seen it. I don't know what to expect from them ...or from me. This is going to be an 'odd' two weeks.

'Bonus' to the world kicking me into the ground in my 20's? I know the signs when something is going to break!
A few hours ago my laptop (which has spent months dying) informed me that without an ethernet cable, it can't connect to the Wi-Fi.
The laptop we ordered yesterday showed up 10 mins ago.

There is something very calming about a good book (nearly done, and I won't be sleeping until it is), a cozy fireplace, hot tea with stroopwafel and a fuzzy blanket. All while the snow falls outside.
My ringer is off. My peace is here at the end of a great war on Roshar.

There is nothing quite like being in the middle of a webinar when a Christmas tree falls from "The Sky" outside my window!
The boys have finally taken down their tree! I'm so proud. lol
